Standing Strong in His Grace

Our battle is not against flesh and blood...ultimately the turmoil going on around us is in a war spiritual atmosphere around us and in our homes. We have to make a firm stand in the light of God's grace against the darkness around us. One of our defensive strategies is to bring hidden sins out into the light of God. For in the eternal God there is no darkness.  Lucifer is the creator of caous and darkness and disaster. He aims to kill, steal and destroy every thing we have set our hands to. We have to be proactive in bringing those dark places into the open.  Our true enemy wants us to hide things in the darkness so that our sins cannot be seen by others. He will have us to walk in the fear of judgement. Rightly so, a judgmental person is going to judge and condemn us with out mercy. A person rooted in God's grace will have a spirit of understanding.   Our words are so powerful.  If we only see how they really and truly manifest in the heavenly places, in the spiritual realm around us...would we say the things we do? Would we think before we say the things we do? Life and death are surely in the power of the tongue, blessings and curses are created and formed by words in our past and present. We should be slow to speak and think of the repercussions of what we say.

I sense a particularly blessed this holiday season.  I am just very humbled and thankful that I am still on this green earth. With out God's great grace, I would not be here right now. I appreciate the ways the Lord has blessed me. He has kept his hand on my family during the season of the COVID. It is really sad how many has died this year. I believe we will make it though this disastrous season. I believe peace will come once again to this earth.  It may not seem like it but I sense we are on the backside of this pandemic.  We are coming into a bright New Year. Well its another year of me cooking Thanksgiving. I think Mawmaw Anglin, Mamaw Bailey and MaElla are looking down on me and shining down their cooking skills upon this humble cooking student!!! I miss them all very much but I know there will be a sweet reunion someday down the road!!! I dont know much else to write, other than I feel so good right now in my life...Its like everything is falling  into a permanent place.  I
