Come into the Light of Jesus

Our battle is not against flesh and blood...ultimately the turmoil going on around us is in a war spiritual atmosphere around us and in our homes. We have to make a firm stand in the light of God's grace against the darkness around us. One of our defensive strategies is to bring hidden sins out into the light of God. For in the eternal God there is no darkness.  Lucifer is the creator of caous and darkness and disaster. He aims to kill, steal and destroy every thing we have set our hands to. We have to be proactive in bringing those dark places into the open.

 Our true enemy wants us to hide things in the darkness so that our sins cannot be seen by others. He will have us to walk in the fear of judgement. Rightly so, a judgmental person is going to judge and condemn us with out mercy. A person rooted in God's grace will have a spirit of understanding. That's the trustful person you should confide your issues to. 

So we go through life hiding certain sins. Some habitual strongholds only have power in the dark places of our minds.

Hidden sexual thoughts are probably the most destructive to our spirits. Lustful thoughts, and thoughts of fornication and adultery hide and fester in the unsubmitted dark areas of our minds.  Behaviors are a different story. Most of these thoughts need to be confessed to GOD and ultimately crucified.  As believers we have the strength in Christ to crucify our thought life. Sinful behavior has a different outcome and should be dwelt with differently.

I'm not sure why I am writing this. This is a tough word.  We cannot be in denial....Jesus would want us to gird up with truth in our minds. The devil is out seeking to devour those who are not vigilant to keep watch over our soul.

Jesus, I come to you and pray for those who are in the darkness of their minds that they would come into the light of Jesus. For what fellowship does light have with darkness. Holy Spirit flip on the light in our hearts for nothing is hidden from your sight. Give us a understanding and trusted mentor to help us be accoutable in our thoughts until victory is proclaimed in the name of Jesus, AMEN!
