A-Z Writing Challenge -Yoke-

Image
This is for those who feel like they carry heavy burdens.  In this world we cannot escape the burdens of the world.  Maybe you feel as if you are on your last leg so to say. Your at the end of your rope on the edge and feel like the pressure of life is all on your shoulders.  The pressures of this life is more than you can handle and you cant bear it anymore.  I hope this writing brings you hope. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.  Do you not think its time to Come to Jesus and let Him take your burdens?  He can and will carry them. Jesus knows all about burdens and how we carry undo yokes of bondage. Yes sin is a heavy load to carry.  Jesus carried our sins up the hill of Calvary.  He crucified our sins on the cross. HE died with carrying the weight of th

Xtra- A-Z Writing Challenge

Today in my A-Z Writing Challenge I am on X word of the day So what better day to use this as a free writing day that I will call “Xtra.”   I will start with giving Jesus some Xtra praise and glory today for losing 42 lbs since February. All it took is some accountability.  I have been staying with my mom and she has been coaching me along the way. I am stoked,  I am on a new path with my weight loss to get down under 200 lbs.  Yes I ballooned up and I felt yucky.   I am feeling 100 percent better. I thank you Jesus and I am excited to get to my goal.  I am really excited about my new writing challenge. It is going to be a whole lot tougher but still another A-Z Writing Challenge…but this time it will be a poetry challenge.   I am looking forward to seeing how it pans out. It is going to take my spending more quality time with GOD. I really enjoy spending time with Him and will reap the benefits of writing poetry.   On this challenge though, sometimes I could not get to writing e

A-Z Writing Challenge -Wait-

Image
Hey good people!! Today is W day and the word for this day is wait. The word is defined as hopeful anticipation. When we wait we are in essence holding on to a desired ending. Good things come to those who wait. We can sometimes get ahead of those good things. We plummet forward instead of waiting…that is all a part of that expected good ending.   We can hurry things up in this life. Waiting is all part of the grand design. Being inpatient and plunging forward could be costly. So what does it mean to truly wait upon the Lord?? I pray that He grants us patience to wait upon HIm. That is what it is going to take to wait. “Teach us Lord to wait upon You!”  Patience takes practicing His Presence in the Holy Spirit. He gives power to those who wait upon Him, exchanging their strength for His! So what does it mean to practice His Presence? I believe we can daily go before the throne of God.  By what Jesus did on the Cross of Calvary, He made a way through the veil into the holy of ho

A-Z Writing Challenge - Voice-

Image
Hello everyone! I hope and pray you have a good day in Jesus. Today is the V day of my A-Z word challenge.   We are going to talk about hearing God’s voice.   Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if ANYONE HEARS MY VOICE and opens the door, I will come into him, and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelations 3:20  We have heard this scripture forever in our Christian existence.  So Jesus is standing at the door knocking. Do you know what He is saying?  He is speaking something as He is knocking, did you hear what He said to you? To get some context to this singled out verse we need to put it into context with the surrounding verses. So let’s do that!  First off, He is writing to the church of Laodicea in the book of revelations.  That church has shut Jesus out of their sanctuary!  How many churches has shut the door in the face of Jesus?? So He is talking about the church that has left him out…And you know what He is still seeking entrance to that church. He is standin

A-Z Writing Challenge-Upright-

Image
Good afternoon good people. I hope you are having a very blessed day in Jesus!!   The word for today is upright.   It means to live righteously. Have you ever known a man or women of God who lived in upright life? I known several through the years.   So what does it mean to live a upright life? To live righteously is to conduct one’s life in a upright or moral way so that our standards reflect our relationship with the Lord Jesus.  You see as a Christian believer we are representatives of the Kingdom of God everywhere we go and whatever we do. Are we reflecting Jesus to the world?  That means as we spend quality time with Jesus through the Holy Spirit, we represent His presence where ever we go…You see we need to allow ourselves to experience God outside of our prayer closets.  While spending quality time alone with our creator, are we releasing His presence to those around us??    Are we manifesting the same love and grace to others that we ourselves have experienced?  What ab

A-Z Writing Challenge -Trust-

Image
Hello and greetings to you all. Hope you are having a exceptional awesome day in Jesus. Today is letter T in my A-Z Writing Challenge. The word for today is “Trust.”   Trust is defined as a confident reliance or resting of mind on a significant friendship or relationship.   Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have a everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4  It can be very difficult to trust in just anyone. If you can find someone to trust in this world it is very rare.  I would advise you to hold onto them.   When we go back on our word to another person, it can cause us to not trust that person. It may talk a long period of time to regain that trust.   We serve a God who does not break His promises to us. For He who calls us is faithful. He will never leave or forsake us!!  We can leave on His word in the scriptures!  Every word is God-breathed and inspired of the Holy Spirit!! People are carnal and can fail us all the time but  God will never fail.  We can put our w

A-Z Writing Challenge (Stand)

Image
Hello good people!!! Here I am with another blog entry for the A-Z Writing Challenge. The word for today is “Stand!”     I know I do not remember as a one or two year old little boy my first step as a baby. My parents taught me how to walk. I would stumble at times I am sure but slowly and steadily I balanced my self to take that first “Stand.”   I know that was a exciting day for my mom and dad!!! They trained me to walk. It was not a instantaneous one time thing.  Have you ever seen a young kid walk on their own without any help?  I can assure you have not seen it.    Just like a earthly parent is our Abba in Heaven when we are a baby Christian…We don’t start off walking but we are in training mode at a certain age. Just like in real life we learn to take steps just like a toddler. I want to talk more now about standing up when we fall….In your faith you are standing firm 2 Corinthians 1:24 …Stand by your faith…Romans 11:20.  The only way we can learn to walk as mature

A-Z Writing Challenge (Renewed)

Image
Today’s word is ‘renew’ in my A-Z Word Challenge.   The word renew means to restore to the original condition.   “Ephesians 4:23 says to be renewed in the spirit of your mind.”   When Adam and Eve sinned, we fell from the  grace and became unredeemed out of God’s mercy.  We were under a soul curse that went though generations. In other words we are held in bondage of sin.  Then Jesus came upon  the scene as a little baby conceived by the Holy Spirit.   He was full of grace and truth!!! He paid a cruel price to redeem us from the hands of the god of this world.  He was beaten and crucified on that old cross. He came not to do his own thing, but remained obedient to Abba God unto death.  But then something very extraordinary happen. He was raised from death by the power of the Holy Spirit!!!  By nature our minds are wicked and we cannot trust it!!!  WE are proneto our carnal nature. But through the Holy Spirit our minds are be renewed to their original state just like Adam
