First Place!!

Since when did prayer become a last option?   Often times it’s the very last resort for us when the odds are stacked against us…Oh my!!  I think we need to fall to our knees in full repentance!!!

Are we really and truly hiding in unbelief that we don’t believe in the power of prayer?  Is that why we exhaust every option before we even pray?   That seems like a slap in the face!!  That is what it may seem like to the Lord!

I would think that breaks the heart of Abba!!

As many times that Jesus came through for us… you would think that we would have learned to seek Jesus first in prayer!!

If your faith in God is that little then no wonder your not seeing the answers that you long to see!!

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for [a]bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?13 If you then, being evil, know how to givegood gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”  Luke 11:11 NKJV

I sincerely hope that this stirs your heart what your first option is.  May the Holy Spirit pull on your heart strings on what is most important.  Does Jesus actually have first place in your heart and soul?   It’s time to check our motives here.   If Jesus truly had first place why is it every time that prayer is our last option.

Abba forgive our selfish and greedy hearts.  Help us to check our motives here in the next several minutes after we finish reading this. Give us repentant hearts full of Your Holy Spirit!  We lay our lives down and our selfish sins.   It’s not about us it’s all about Jesus!!!   Move on every heart reading this post.  Come Holy Spirit!!!   Move upon our souls in Jesus name!!
