Humble Prayers

When we truly come to Jesus in prayer, there is no room for pride. The scriptures say to humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift us up. 

True humility is the only way through the veil. To come before Abba through Jesus we must lay down our lives.  Self centered prayers will only bounce off the walls of our hearts.  

Ultimately we need to get our eyes off our self and focus on bringing others. 

  God sees our needs and will meet them when you least expect a answer. 

Abba desires us to speak forth to the hurting, the bruised and broken.  

Bring those into the veil right into the Holy place where Abba is longing to meet you there

 Seek Abba first by submitting to Jesus through the Holy Spirit.  

Pass through the veil of the flesh and put others needs before your own.  

Behold ABBA’s eyes are on the sparrows.  What makes you think he has forgotten you.  Through it seems he tarries, wait upon Him and do not get caught up in self!!!

Abba desires to open the floodgates of heaven on your behalf and rain upon your life. Let it rain upon those reading this now.  

Being selfish is a sin before God.  God does not bless self-centered people. Sadly many of us are like that!!   

Abba deliver us from being consumed with only ourselves.  Help us refocus on praying for those that need Your touch.  Those are the prayers you truly hear.

I always see a flower before it blooms.                               Richard T Hicks 2020 I was not always like that.  Why and exactly how in the world did my perspective change over the years? It’s Already Been Done!!

Dear Jesus I just want to take the time to say I appreciated all you have done for me through your sacrificial death on that dark and cruel cross.   You didn’t have to do it… but you did.   It makes me sad that you had to die to make this all possible…but you did it without hesitation.  All my love and life I owe to You… Thank you ABBA for your grace and mercy poured out upon all people on this earth.   Draw them and give them a revelation of your divine glory.  For you gave your only son.   I am so grateful to you for redeeming me so I wouldn’t have to die.   For Jesus has already been on that cross and already experienced my destruction in the grave.  He already died once for all creation.   For in Adam we have died already, but through Christ we have been made alive through that glorious resurrection by the power of your Holy Spirit.   Yes God has already done it all through the power of His Spirit.    For He has already seated us in heavenly places in Jesus.   He has given us a hop

Not in a Hurry

A flower does not get in a hurry.  It takes its time to grow and bloom in beautiful and intrinsic ways. Just like us as believers we do not instantly bloom.  We  may start as a seed.  We want to be in such a hurry but it takes grace to be patient….and trust too.  It takes time and space to grow. Lots of tender loving care.   We shouldn’t worry about blooming for our time will come without one worry how we will turn out … Dear Jesus,  help me I pray to not be in a hurry or to compare my heart to to anyone else for in due time we will flourish and bloom like the red rose 🌹 on a sunny spring day…Amen.
