Let go and Jump??

When we feel like we are at the end of our rope or even on the edge of a cliff, do we let go or jump because everyone else is doing just that?   No!

We have to stand up to be counted.  We do not always let go of the rope.  You see Jesus is pulling us to a higher level.  We don’t go by those strong feelings to let go.  Everything in us is telling us to let go.   Please don’t do that!  

Jesus is pulling on the other end of the rope!!!   He is saying to “Hold on, I have got you!! 

We serve a strong Lord who will move heaven and earth to save us!!  He does not desire for us to give up so easy.  Remember we are called to do those hard things!!  

He may be speaking to you now, “Do you trust ME? If you do then do not let go!!”

And…if you are on the edge of a high cliff don’t jump unless you have wings… and know how to fly like a bird!!!  May be that God is talking to you edge of the Cliff’ers, “do not jump!!!”  

We need to be a hundred percent sure we are hearing The voice of God!! 

I’m not saying you can’t take a leap of faith  sometimes that is much needed risk to take.   

Wouldn’t you rather listen to Abba for your next move?  Jumping from cliff to cliff?  Is that really God telling me to do that?  

I can recall those times when God calmly told me to stay on that cliff and just walk away. But can you guess what I did????  I jumped off the cliff like a big fool.  Man if I could go back I should haven’t listened to those voices that just wanted me out of their way!   God just doesn’t work like that…

Have you ever thought that you should have stayed where you were at? And that it wasn’t as bad as you thought?  That soups have been times you readjusted and kept holding onto the best thing you ever had!!  

Abba we call out to you right now we know we cannot go back and fix things in our life that we should have not let go of!!  But in spite of our foolishness you work with what we have given you!! 

Jesus we give you our all   We lay down our stubborn heart and for our stiff neck desires…change our hearts.   Let us be guided by Your Holy voice… help us to listen and be obedient when you call our names!!!   Amen and amen!
