Faithful One

Jesus is that faithful friend who will never leave you hanging on the high ledge of life. 

He will rescue you when you call out to him for help.  

He will throw you the rope…don’t give up on Jesus!   At just the right time he will pull you through whatever your facing today!!

He will never abandon you. 

  He promises to be there for you until the very end.  

He is not finished with you yet.  

 He will be there for you until you breathe your last breath on this earth.

He has promised you forever with Him in all glory with all the saints who have gone before you  

He desires to be your best friend when you cannot count on anyone else…

He will not forsake you when you need Him the most.  

He desires you to draw near to him. 

Maybe you have been abandoned by others in this life.  

Maybe others have not been nice to you.  

God is not a maybe God.  It’s a definite yes with Him.   If he told you something it will come to pass….

He will be faithful to you…you can count on his faithfulness today and tomorrow…

I always see a flower before it blooms.                               Richard T Hicks 2020 I was not always like that.  Why and exactly how in the world did my perspective change over the years? It’s Already Been Done!!

Dear Jesus I just want to take the time to say I appreciated all you have done for me through your sacrificial death on that dark and cruel cross.   You didn’t have to do it… but you did.   It makes me sad that you had to die to make this all possible…but you did it without hesitation.  All my love and life I owe to You… Thank you ABBA for your grace and mercy poured out upon all people on this earth.   Draw them and give them a revelation of your divine glory.  For you gave your only son.   I am so grateful to you for redeeming me so I wouldn’t have to die.   For Jesus has already been on that cross and already experienced my destruction in the grave.  He already died once for all creation.   For in Adam we have died already, but through Christ we have been made alive through that glorious resurrection by the power of your Holy Spirit.   Yes God has already done it all through the power of His Spirit.    For He has already seated us in heavenly places in Jesus.   He has given us a hop

Not in a Hurry

A flower does not get in a hurry.  It takes its time to grow and bloom in beautiful and intrinsic ways. Just like us as believers we do not instantly bloom.  We  may start as a seed.  We want to be in such a hurry but it takes grace to be patient….and trust too.  It takes time and space to grow. Lots of tender loving care.   We shouldn’t worry about blooming for our time will come without one worry how we will turn out … Dear Jesus,  help me I pray to not be in a hurry or to compare my heart to to anyone else for in due time we will flourish and bloom like the red rose 🌹 on a sunny spring day…Amen.
