Standing Strong in His Grace

  that you experience  God's great and tangible  Presence   of His glory.   As you extend your hands to Jesus  may He fill you  with  His Holy Spirit   May that encounter experience  grant you  grace and peace  that only comes though Him. Resting  in His outstretched arms  reaching out and holding you  much like a little child.  For He will hold you  tightly  to His chest. May He give you  hope and joy  that only comes from  knowing He is  going to keep you  and protect you.   He is going to guide your steps  as you let Him lead you... Afraid to move, James lay in his bed motionless at 4:00 a.m. His muscles ached from staying in the same position for hours, as he stared at the ceiling. With the shades drawn, the darkness seemed to envelope the entire room, including James. With all the strength he could muster, he breathed in and out in overwhelming anguish. He didn’t think he could take much more. Gloom and thick darkness filled the atmosphere. In the spiritual realm, Satan summoned the demons of death and suicide. One by one, they assembled around James’s bed, like mourners around a coffin. In disgust and hate, they looked down upon his struggling body and soul. Finally, one of the suicide demons in the room spoke in a chilling, sinister voice, “Kill yourself.” He motioned for the other demons. I wrote this in my Mountain Movers Mental Health Support group and wanted to share it here! Depression for me in months of 2021 have not been good....There were many lows and a few highs. It is truly a silent killer unless you kick it in the rear.....Yes it can really be a donkey's butt! If you don't do not recognize it and kick it out of your life it will rake havoc on your life and even Christian life!!! Depression can be very disabling. I know this fully well. So I joined the gym back before the COVID and maybe went 3 or 4 times before it hit full force. I decided to go to the gym yesterday and worked out for 30 minutes and it set me on a better path for the day. It as well set me back on the path of intermediate fasting and I have lost 3 pounds since then! I didn't go today but all that long lost physical and spiritual energy topped over into today! I have just got to be vigilant and notice the triggers to disarm them. Each day has enough problems of its own....but w...

Jesus you are the glory and the lifter of our heads.  Maybe you do not lift your head in his presence to see Him....Maybe you deal with guilt and shame and don't feel worthy to stand in his presence. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse you from all sins that have beset you. He forgives you as far as the east is from the west. You have to ask for HIS forgiveness. As soon as you do that HE comes in like a flood and cleanses you with His Blood. He is desiring to gently and tenderly lift your face to him. There is no reason to feel downtrodden and hopeless. Maybe you are like me you really want to see him but in your minds eyes you have trouble seeing Jesus where HE is right now. He is no longer on the cross of Calvary.  He rose from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT and He is able to live in your heart if you allow him. My brothers and sisters, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing the testing of your faith produced patience. James 1;2-3 We should be thankful and should be joyful and not begrudge different trials we go through in our Christian walk, and definitely not hold a grudge against GOD..  The saying is all but true...we should get better and not get bitter. Its so easy for a root of bitterness to spring forth when we are going through various tribulations. It is not the time to get whiny and let bitterness take its full effect blaming GOD!!!   The testing of our faith not only produces patience but it always draws us closer to GOD thus giving him the glory for bringing us through those trials.   Job is the perfect example...He lost everything. He didn't get bitter and hold a grudge!!! Let's take a good lesson...He set in the ashes of his life that He once had. I am sure he mourned what He lost, but yet His witness and devotion was still true to Jeh...

  Now may the God of hope fill you with all  joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope  by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 Have you ever felt despair and at the end of your rope? I have been there, more often times than I care to admit.  But we do not serve a god of despondency.  Life does not go from one pity party after another....holding onto hopelessness is clutching onto ones self and not letting go of that rope.  For that is holding on to insecurities that make us feel sorry for ourselves No one wants to be around someone who continually feels sorry for themselves and their sore soul life, In fact a heart full of pity will drain another person dry of all energy. Its no wonder in the past people felt repelled to be around me, plus I was a negative Norman to top it off. What are you allowing to fill you up? Our battle is not against flesh and blood...ultimately the turmoil going on around us is in a war spiritual atmosphere around us and in our homes. We have to make a firm stand in the light of God's grace against the darkness around us. One of our defensive strategies is to bring hidden sins out into the light of God. For in the eternal God there is no darkness.  Lucifer is the creator of caous and darkness and disaster. He aims to kill, steal and destroy every thing we have set our hands to. We have to be proactive in bringing those dark places into the open.  Our true enemy wants us to hide things in the darkness so that our sins cannot be seen by others. He will have us to walk in the fear of judgement. Rightly so, a judgmental person is going to judge and condemn us with out mercy. A person rooted in God's grace will have a spirit of understanding.
