Day 1 of My A-Z Writing Challenge

 This is day 1 of the A-Z writing challenge.  My word is "abide." I want to start by giving a definition. Here it is:  to remain fixed,  staying in that place of blessing from Almighty God.




If we abide in Jesus what does that mean?  whoever stays in God's grace will remain fixed in Christ.  We actually must fix our lives depending and trusting in Jesus at all times, not just when we "feel like it." He is there waiting for us to come to Him to pour out his richest blessings upon our lives

Jesus desires for us to grow and flourish and produce fruit.  This will not happen if we do not stay in that place of communion and fellowship with Him.  The presence of the Lord is not a euphoric feeling but a state of abiding in His grace. In other words your life as a believer you should commit to Jesus no matter what the cost. He will also do the same for you.



Dear Jesus we submit to you this day. Abide in us and help us to abide in You.  Teach us to remain in constant fellowship of your loving grace. Help us to walk in the truth for that will dispel all evil, in Jesus name we humbly ask and pray, AMEN.

It’s not that Complicated

  There is nothing complicated about hell…in fact it is very easy to get there.    I can assure you it’s not one big party with lots of rock music and sex.  Who would want to actually feel hells torment without any grace, mercy or relief. I do not know about you but I do not wish to go there If you intend to take the easy street then by all means be prepared for continual weeping and gnashing of teeth and the torment of eternal fiery punishment. Hell is not a complicated choice!!  Who would want to go there?  I would never desire to go there willingly.   Jesus came to this earth he hung on that cross as a human being   He was God in the flesh. There is not  a whole lot of preaching these days about going hell…we need to hear more fiery sermons from pulpits on Sunday mornings!!! Unrepentant sinners.will all go to hell.  It’s high time we repented of all our sins, and ask God to forgive you of all sin. Someday

FiveMinuteFriday One day the time will come when we breathe our last breath and close our eyes one last time...There is nothing we can do to stop that.  It is just one fact of life we all have to deal with. Death is inevitable, it will happen we can be sure of that. We cannot avoid it. Someday that door will open, and we will close the door to this life we now live... Are you ready for that "someday?"  The fact is that we are not guaranteed tomorrow. we should at all costs live each day as if it was our last day. Not in a Hurry

A flower does not get in a hurry.  It takes its time to grow and bloom in beautiful and intrinsic ways. Just like us as believers we do not instantly bloom.  We  may start as a seed.  We want to be in such a hurry but it takes grace to be patient….and trust too.  It takes time and space to grow. Lots of tender loving care.   We shouldn’t worry about blooming for our time will come without one worry how we will turn out … Dear Jesus,  help me I pray to not be in a hurry or to compare my heart to to anyone else for in due time we will flourish and bloom like the red rose 🌹 on a sunny spring day…Amen.
