Day 3 for the A-Z Writing Challenge
Greetings and welcome to Day 3 of my writing challenge! The word for the day is courage. Courage is defined as as mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and face danger without fear.
Courage is the opposite of fear. Overwhelming fear creeps into the mind, it take mental strength to conquer it. That is where courage comes into play. When we face something out of our comfort zone we procrastinate which is a indication we are operating in fear. even something out of our control can trigger the fear factor. We get scared and our rational mind kicks in.
How do we conquer fear with courage? We must stand firm and have our spiritual armor in place. We must tackle fear with supernatural strength in place. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but we will have to daily face this giant. Satan targets our mind and magnifies and pulls our all fear tactics to stop you in your tracks. We must forge ahead in the name of our Lord much like in the story of David and Goliath. It is not our stature or own strength that wins the victory. It is supernatural courage that only GOD gives that will help us to face all our fears!
Dear Jesus we take courage this day...when all seems lost and we are facing unknown fears help us to armor up each day just liked David did when he faced Goliath. Replace the fear tht attempts to torment our minds with your great courage. We ask you do this Holy Spirit we can not do it in our own strength. We love you and praise you this day. Thank you for waking us up. help us to be warriors for you in Jesus name, AMEN!
