A-Z Writing Challenge (Renewed)

Today’s word is ‘renew’ in my A-Z Word Challenge.  The word renew means to restore to the original condition.

“Ephesians 4:23 says to be renewed in the spirit of your mind.”

When Adam and Eve sinned, we fell from the  grace and became unredeemed out of God’s mercy.  We were under a soul curse that went though generations. In other words we are held in bondage of sin.

Then Jesus came upon

the scene as a little baby conceived by the Holy Spirit.

He was full of grace and truth!!! He paid a cruel price to redeem us from the hands of the god of this world.  He was beaten and crucified on that old cross. He came not to do his own thing, but remained obedient to Abba God unto death.

But then something very extraordinary happen. He was raised from death by the power of the Holy Spirit!!!

By nature our minds are wicked and we cannot trust it!!!  WE are proneto our carnal nature. But through the Holy Spirit our minds are be renewed to their original state just like Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden!! Only by the blood Jesus shed on the cross for our sins can we be redeemed!!  By the power of the Holy Spirit can we be restored and renewed to our original state in the Spirit!!

I urge you therefore brethren, by the mercieof God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.  Romans 12:1-2

My dear Jesus, help us to catch and see this revelation of being renewed by the spirit of our minds. Help us not to be led by our carnal nature. Show us how to crucify that nature and walk in our new nature by the power of the Holy Spirit just like Jesus did. HE was the great forerunner before us. Holy Spirit lead the way and renew our souls in Jesus name, Amen!!!
