✍️Getting to know Me Challenge

I am letter C of this writing ✍️ challenge and my word is “Church.”  I have had some good church experiences and some not so good ones…

I remember church ⛪️ from a early age.   I started going around the age of 8 years old.   I went to Hillside Baptist Church.   It was actually on a hilltop. I got saved outside that church on a Sunday night in 1982.  

After that night I change churches and denominations. Ever since that time I have been in several churches sad to say. 

This is very difficult to write about because of the fact that I do not base my salvation or deliverance on church attendance.  People in churches and leaders are not perfect and it’s really not about being religious but about having a relationship with the Jesus…I have struggled with being religious in my past and have used that mask. 

 I am to the point where I don’t want to wear a mask.  I desire others to see me for who I am and being religious can be a mask well-meaning people have used to cope… when I was growing up I hated hypocrisy….

God help us to be real and not have to put on mask…you don’t wear them as why should we?

Introvert Ramblings (Usually)

I am not a big communicator at all. I am quite the opposite. If I have nothing to say I "usually" don't say anything. I am very much an introvert and loner, but you could never tell that from my writings. I may have one friend or two I speak on the phone with...I have no one else really, I feel that I can freely to open up to and not sure why I am like that. I could really beat myself up over it, everyone else does a good job of it for me, but I have come to realize what a waste of time that is... God has given me the gift of writing out my words. So, if it really bugs you, take it up with the big man upstairs... I just put my headphones on and cut on my music that centers me on what GOD wants to say through me and I type away! I have four blogs that I write on.  and I just published my second short book of Christian Free verse prose. It’s not that Complicated

  There is nothing complicated about hell…in fact it is very easy to get there.    I can assure you it’s not one big party with lots of rock music and sex.  Who would want to actually feel hells torment without any grace, mercy or relief. I do not know about you but I do not wish to go there If you intend to take the easy street then by all means be prepared for continual weeping and gnashing of teeth and the torment of eternal fiery punishment. Hell is not a complicated choice!!  Who would want to go there?  I would never desire to go there willingly.   Jesus came to this earth he hung on that cross as a human being   He was God in the flesh. There is not  a whole lot of preaching these days about going hell…we need to hear more fiery sermons from pulpits on Sunday mornings!!! Unrepentant sinners.will all go to hell.  It’s high time we repented of all our sins, and ask God to forgive you of all sin. Sin is sin and Jesus desires us to be...
