Standing Strong in His Grace

During the course of our day, there are many voices vying for our attention.  I  believe that as a believer in Jesus, you have the voice of the Holy Spirit inside you teaching you and guiding you into the things of GOD. I also believe the enemy of our souls has a voice as well that tempts us. Last but not least, I believe that we also have the voice of the flesh causing strife with us. What if you actually could have have the power to silence all these voices that we hear in our mind? You have the power to choose to say "NO" to the voice of the enemy and the flesh! I am here to tell you that Jesus has given us that ability and authority against those sinful voices. Our culture and the society we live in has a yes mentality. Some of us have never just said no....we have very weakly given in and said yes to appease those mental voices to shut them up. The best thing I can tell you is that GOD loves you and wants a relationship with you. Now is the time to NOT give in to the schemes of the devil. Its easy to pull away from GOD in the flesh, and tough to stick with it. I went through periods of time in my walk in Christ when I did pull away and the results were disastrous! I have to blame myself to a extent in that, but also if we give the devil a inch he takes a foot. The enemy of our soul and his minions revel in his victories over us. If he could he would keep us down for the count. He wants to knock the spiritual wind out of us in defeat after defeat. He wants us without hope and faith doubting the works of GOD. Any way he can gain a foothold he will! But you know what? When we bow our knees to Jesus, that is when HE truly fights for us! As long as you put GOD 'in a box' you will NOT experience all that HE has for you...healing, deliverance from sin, and the flesh...as well as watching the words of your mouth. You should desire all that God has. Its high time to get rid of that box of hypocritical religiosity!!! Please do not limit HIM when he can do so much more in your life.  When you restrict GOD, you are more or less putting JESUS in a box. HE can not live and more through you if you confine HIM from doing so!!! We should bare our souls and lay our lives down on that altar of sacrifice unto HIM, and not try to stuff GOD in a box saying "YOU can do this or that, but not touch that part of my life." Do not hold back of those areas that stay hidden from everyone else because of guilt and shame!!  Living the Christian walk should be less about you and more about HIM. Its not all about what HE can do 'for' you, but what HE can do 'through' you for Him to reach into others around you. It

I love Jesus very much. He has blessed me in many ways. He touches me with His Presence daily and has given me a clear mind and I am very humbled and grateful!!! I know He has great plans for my future even at 56 years old. Ha!! I might be on ground zero at this time of my life. But I know the Lord plans to rebuild my life from the ashes as I ultimately surrender and submit to His will.   I know its not about me, its all about Jesus and what He desires to do through my submission unto His will. I just want to encourage you right now...right where you are at. Maybe you are suffering in the midst of all this isolation and quarantine to keep from getting the COVID.  God is preparing you for something we can not even imagine.  Don't give up!!! Back in the day when I was really suffering from a mental illness, it seemed that when I isolated it made things much worse and I would always relapse.  These days I am alright...praise the Lord!! My Sweet Jesus Your face is like the morning sun as it rises over the horizon You are clothed in white sitting on the throne… I bow at your feet. lifting up my hands in worship. my mind as clear as crystal as I pour out my heart of humility. "Be merciful to this sinner." Then as your hands reach down raising my head drying my tear stained face the Holy Spirit floods me with rivers of grace... all I can say is I love you and pray this moment never ends.

...And Elijah passed over to Him (Elisha) and threw his mantle on him.  1 Kings 19:19 Several years ago while in God's very strong presence and listening to worship and yesterday, I had a similar experience in a vision of someone throwing a mantle on my shoulders.  The first experience which was around 5 years ago, the Holy Spirit spoke the word mantle to my spirit. I immediately looked up the above scripture and believed the Lord had called me to be a prophet. Wow! I remember really wrestling with what I felt like God spoke to me. I even wrote a blog post in a blog I had at that time.  At the church I  was in at the time, I went to that pastor and the next Sunday He and the elders prayed over me. Do you know I never gave a prophetic word in that church? There was no one there to mentor me in the prophetic. While attending there It was like my mouth kept shut and I didn't speak forth in that assembly. There was very few who stepped up in the prophetic there... I just do not see

I want to give a Word to those who that seemed to have struggled and fought over sinfulness in their own Christian life.  Maybe a habitual sin that you cant seem to break free from.  It has in your minds eyes caused you to say, "it's just how GOD made me."  You have struggled in your own power, as limited as that is, for many years.  Insecurity and sin has just become a way of life for you.  Maybe it is even anger or bitterness over a hurtful incident in your life and your have struggled to let go of it no matter how hard you have tried. Do not allow satan to steal your joy any longer. He is a well know liar! He wants you miserable and down trodden. He wants you down for the count in that great boxing match. He is crafty and quick!  Your story is not over by a long shot.  The enemy of our soul hasn't won this round. Do you see HIM in the crowd? Put your gaze upon HIM, Trust HIM as HE comes closer.  Take HIS hand and let HIM into the boxing ring of your life and take y

During this season of uncertainty, I am reminded that even when it seems like insignificant things to us, are big in God's perspective.  It may seem small in man's eyes. Spending time with God is a treasure in God's sight. He delights to have a one on one relationship with us. He wants to not only hear from us, but he wants to speak to us. It goes both ways. We have to learn to listen to what He says.   It is so important when He speaks to us on a daily level to hear and be obedient to what He says His grace still extends to our deepest need. He sees our heart and desires us to put His Kingdom first. Some of us have not made that step to get back into church. I haven't made that choice yet.  We really find out where our faith truly is when we step away. That doesn't mean we step away from God and do our own thing. It does mean that we press in even more to hear what God is saying and have that faith for the future. I want to encourage you though the times seem dim a
